I finally got everything together and got all my other projects out of the way and should be able to start work on the bore I wanted to make. It's really just a wooden scraper, but I want it to make the right shape inside my ceramic piece for the flute bore. I have a bunch of ideas I've gathered over the last year or so (most of them from www.NavaChing.com) and I've incorporated them into the shape I want the inside of my pipe to look like.
The hard part is that I want to make it three bladed, so that it centers better and won't cut a polygon shape as flat blades seem to do.
After that it will be easy to make the mold for the outer wall, in fact I intend to make a few, with different external parts for making a variety of artistic additions. They will still be all hand made and unique, but made from a few similar blanks.
